The Department of African American and African Studies offers graduate degrees at the MA and PhD levels. The program maintains an international core faculty and associated faculty from a wide range of academic units throughout The Ohio State University.

Undergraduate Information

Undergraduate study at The Ohio State University provides unique opportunities to those students who choose to major or minor in one of the department programs. The Department represents one of the most diversified undergraduate programs on campus. Along with the AAAS major or minor, in collaboration with the School of Music, the Department now offers a Hip Hop minor too.
