AAAS & Music Hip Hop Minor

The Hip Hop minor in African American & African Studies and Music consists of 15 semester hours: 6 hours in core requirements (AFAMAST/MUSIC 3450 & 3354) and 9 semester elective hours. One of the AFAMAST/MUSIC elective courses can be at the 2000-level the rest must be at the AFAMAST/MUSIC 3000-level or above.  If students complete the Hip Hop minor, according to guidelines, they need only to file the Hip Hop Minor Program Form with their Arts and Sciences advisors.
