J Rawls will be performing in Yellow Springs, Ohio at the second annual Talib Kweli KWELIFEST – hosted by Dave Chappelle. The three day event will feature performances by Jungle Brothers, Skyzoo, Rah Digga and many more. Talib Kweli is an American rapper who has released eight solo studio albums in addition to several collaborative albums. Kweli's most recent album, Liberation 2, was in collaboration with DJ and producer Madlib and a sequel to their 2007 album, Liberation. J. Rawls is an American DJ and music producer who has collaborated with artists such as Mos Def, Kweli, Beastie Boys, Aloe Blacc and more. Rawls has also released albums as a solo artist. Most recently, Kweli and Rawls collaborated on a joint album, The Confidence of Knowing, which was released in September 2024. Rawls will be performing at the Aug 26 and Aug 28 show.
