The Minister of Culture Emory Douglas and former Los Angeles Panther leader Harold Taylor will share their experiences as members of the Black Panther Party during the turbulent 60s and 70s. Douglas will speak on his revolutionary art and Taylor will speak about his successes and challenges while organizing in the Los Angeles area.
They will speak at the African American and African Studies Community Extension Center (905 Mt. Vernon Ave, Columbus, OH) on Friday April 17, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.This event is free and open to the public.
