AAAS Assistant Professor, Dr. Charles Athanasopoulos book, Black Iconoclasm, was recently awarded the 2025 Critical and Cultural Studies Division Book of the Year Award by the National Communication Association. This is the second major award following the 2025 First Book Prize awarded by the Cultural Studies Association.
