Intensive beginning Spanish; emphasis on development of proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in cultural contexts. Not open to native speakers of this language through regular course enrollment or EM credit. 3+ years of high school Spanish is required.
Prereq: Spanish Heritage Language (SHL) or Spanish Placement Level 9. Not open to students with credit for 1101, 1101.01, 1102, 1102.01, 1103, 1103.01. This course is available for EM credit. GE for lang course. GE world languages course.
