Managing Editor for Research in African Literatures (RAL) and Spectrum: A Journal on Black Men

Molly is the Managing Editor of Research in African Literatures and Spectrum: A Journal on Black Men, in which she handles the day-to-day management of both journals and their copyediting and proofreading for publication. She has worked in publishing for over eleven years as a publications coordinator and editor and joined AAAS in 2012. In addition to her involvement with RAL and Spectrum, Molly also copyedits for a variety of other scholarly journals, including African Conflict and Peacebuilding Review, Historical Performance, and Black Diaspora Review. Molly holds a dual Bachelor's in Music and Spanish Linguistics, a Master's in Historical Musicology, and is currently a PhD candidate in Historical Musicology at OSU. She also undertook graduate study at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati in Music History under the tutelage of the esteemed Miguel Roig-Francolí and Clare Callahan. Molly will be defending her dissertation, "The Libro de música de vihuela (1552) by Diego Pisador," which includes the first complete modern edition of Diego Pisador's vihuela book, in spring 2018.
